Yeah. They’re an independent dev team. Their non-Pokemon games have to negotiate distribution and develop ports independently.

Probably too demanding for the system, but I know nothing about it so correct me if I’m wrong. If that is the case, it makes sense. You’d definitely want a stable performance for a game in that style.

They are not obligated to. If it flops in Japan it will be their own fault.

+ Isn’t game freak’s devs want to flee from Nintendo and Pokemon ? If it works well they’ll may have an escape from it and it will be cool for them
