I recently picked up a New 3DS on eBay, but the faceplates it came with were pretty scratched up, so I wanted to give it a fresh look.
While browsing Vinted, I found a set of Groudon and Kyogre cover plates for €70. It felt a bit ridiculous to spend that much, but I still put in an offer for €65. Unfortunately, someone else grabbed them not long after as they were marked as sold shortly after my offer.
In the end, I ordered a non-original set from AliExpress instead. They just arrived, and honestly, I’m really satisfied. The fit is perfect, and since I’ve never seen the originals in person, I can’t compare but they look fantastic to me.
Now playing Alpha Sapphire on it just feels that much more immersive lol.
