Back, many moons ago, I signed up for the Steam Hardware Beta participant program and I was chosen to receive a Steam Beta Machine that Valve themselves built. Me and 299 other individuals got to participate in a closed-beta program and gave feedback to Valve directly about how thier machine ran with SteamOS. I alos have the original beta Steam Controller as well. I never use it anymore, it just sits on my TV stand and collects dust.
Fun Fact: There are 300 holes on top and a specific hole is bored out to each specific Steam Beta Machine.

how does it run?
Nice! Is this similar to the upcoming steam box? Can you play your games in your steam library?

Cool stuff! What’s the GPU on that thing? Does the machine still run?
CLEAN THAT THANG
Awesome but she’s a bit dusty
Polish the guy, she needs to shine.
do you have a ‘backup’ of the original os? and drop some specs I’m curious

Gotta surely love that design, despite that this is indeed a PC that runs on SteamOS!
Even if the design looked quite cool, it was only exclusive to US Steam users. Although I wasn’t that much into Steam when I was young anyway, but we will definitely get the Steam Machine in this year!
Either way, that thing surely looks cool, but it is quite dusty. Maybe you could clean that beauty up or something? I’m not rushing you though.
