Should I exchange my 3DS just because I don’t like it’s cover?

so there's technically nothing wrong with my ds and it actually runs really well and I've even considered moding it, the only problem is that I literally hate it's case lol. I've had this thing for like a near decade and just straight up still hate it so much, Idk why it's literally just Mario but I never liked it.

so I'm considering just exchanging it since there's a game store near by where I'm at who has ds too. but despite my dislike for the case I'm just nervous of doing that because it's been with me for a near decade and I don't know how well said DS run in that store. so now I'm wondering if there's any covers I can find at least or any other solution? all the covers I've seen are clear and I'm not too sure if I'd still be happy with that.
