I was planning on getting this 3ds today for my sister but all these issues came up. Bro said after a couple hours of it being plugged in, it smelled like burning. He’s bringing it to somebody to check out right now but even if he gets it working I feel like I shouldn’t buy anymore. It’s a galaxy new 3ds xl with the box in near mint visual condition, a bunch of games, and a sun and moon carrying case. I didn’t take a picture before he delisted. I was gonna get it for 500 and hopefully sell the games and case to make some of that back. It’s suppose to be for my sister. I shouldn’t get it after that burning smell right?

No……… Unless you’re a tech and you talk him down significantly.
Heck no dude. Talk him down if anything but a burnt smelling uncharging 3ds is not a fun project
