They all have their own advantages and disadvantages.
My favorite is the propeller suit because it’s really fun use!

Hard to top the cape
I’m just an old, but I preferred in SMb3 when Mario had just the tail and ears but the full tanuki suit was just a rare drop that also let you turn into a statue.
