Daisy invited Luigi into the Chai Kingdom to celebrate the Year of the Horse. And the entire Kingdom came to celebrate with them.
The Chai Kingdom is one of Princess Daisys four Kingdoms that appear in Super Mario Land. It is inspired by ancient China. Most of who appears in the crowd are characters from Super Mario Land. The design of the palace is inspired by the Dragon Driftway Race Course from Mario Kart 8.
