I bought this 3ds used on eBay a couple years back. I picked it up to use it today and noticed the back panel seems to flex on one side. Slight pressure makes it go away but I’m kinda scared it’s a sign the battery is beginning to swell?

Looks like a spicy pillow to me. Unscrew it and have a look i guess
Most likely the battery. Get a replacement.
