    1. But does it make the game less tropey, preachy, or grindy? Monolith Soft has made bad games since Baten Kaitos, and even that was rough.

      So, no, then?

Sick, I’ma keep skipping their games. Anything from Monolith Soft, especially with Xeno in front, gets a hard pass. Takahashi is a hack.

    2. Of course it’s not as big of a jump from the wii u to switch, but it really does look like a huge difference for certain scenes. Big fan of how a lot of the bluring is cleared up with the enhancement.

    3. Image quality boost is nice, but the higher framerate definitely helps with readability in combat, which can be difficult in these Xenoblade games at times.

    4. It’s ”ok”. It looks a bit better. I can’t even imagine what word you’d use if the game looked even better since you already used ”stunning”.

I have my cartridge but hearing that I still need to paid an extra 5€ lmao, XC2 and Torna really need that upgrade too.

    6. I, meanwhile, have yet to finish the original on Wii U… if I picked it up at this point, a decade later, would I even remember how the soul voice thing works, or what I’m meant to do with my Mira supply network? Should I just try to push through to credits? 😂

I think this video should have started out with gameplay instead of the cutscene. In gameplay the frame rate boost is VERY noticeable, especially after playing the game before the NS2E recently on switch 2.

It’s a bare minimum update. Meaning you get paying 5 dollars for 60 fps upgrade and a resolution boost. Is that’s worth it? Depends on the person.

    9. I need to go back and give this game a second shot. I bounced out right before I was about to get the mech.

    10. its like a spot the difference game but you’re being gaslit and theres no actual difference

    11. It still has so. much. aliasing. Why not use DLSS now that they can? The game already has a (shitty) TAA, so they should have motion vectors, right? Unless I’m wrong and it’s still just FXAA or something …
