C’mon if multiple licensed games including goddamn quest for Camelot can be on NSO and Nintendo was willing to spend the rights money for them, then why can’t they spend license money on the ONLY licensed game the virtual boy ever had so we can have every Virtual Boy Game Ever on Switch!

    1. I don’t think it’s something to sneeze at, but yeah Quest for Camelot on NSO sounds like Nintendo is on crack.

    2. I mean… It’s not impossible. It looks like Bandai Namco would have ownership of the publishing rights today: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/02133521 Nintendo and Bandai Namco have been very close over the last 15 years or so.

And the film rights are owned by Universal, which Nintendo has a great relationship with now from the Mario movies and Super Nintendo World.

I went into this thinking it’d probably be a legal nightmare, but knowing the two entities with the rights (as far as I can tell) are on good terms with Nintendo actually makes this seem very doable.
