I wanted a hockey game before, but after just watching the US win gold against Canada, I’m really thinking about it now. I mostly play Madden and open world/adventure games like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU, AC, Cyberpunk, RDR2, Uncharted, things like that, but have never played an NHL game. I’m seeing reviews saying it sucks but that is because there’s no change from previous years. So, if NHL 26 was your first hockey game, is it worth $27.99?

Yeah it’s worth $30.
Do you want a hockey game? This is that.
Do you want a good game? It’s not one of those. The other sports franchises aren’t great either but they set a bar the NHL games don’t even come close to.
But I bought it. I play it. It’s really all there is.
Yeah that’s a good price, and you won’t have to buy another NHL game for the next 5 years because they just release the same game every year.
How do you expect anyone to answer that question? It’s the main NHL game, it’s on a pretty good sale. Will you like it? Who knows. Can you afford to waste $28 on a game if you don’t like it?
I buy chel every other year at a discounted price. I’d probably go for it because it’s not at full price
I bought it to learn hockey… turns out that’s not the best way to learn about the sport. There is no tutorial. So, not only do I not know how to play the sport, I don’t understand the video game.
