Hi all, so due to FOMO and seeing prices increasing all the time I went out searching for a N3DSXL, and managed to to find and buy this one for 250 euros.
I currently play on the N2DSXL with a grip and really enjoy it, it’s my trip companion along with a Steam Deck. I also have 2 O3DSXL that I used before. My 2 questions are:
Is there any significant advantage to switching to the N3DSXL?
In case I keep it stored, any tips to keeping it running perfectly? Do I need to switch it on from time to time? Or any other advice?

Get a plastic cover case for the outside of the console that type of color way is know to peel you can prevent it with a cover case!
The only real advantage would be the 3D effect on the top screen over a 2DS.
If you’re going to store it, take out the battery as per any electronics.
the n3dsxl imo has the best build quality and size so it feels less “fragile” compared to 2dsxl . i watch movies on the 3ds so that’s an aspect i benefit from 3d other than 3d in games. it’s the superior model of all 3ds imo. but to sum it up. no, there isn’t any significant advantages to switching to n3dsxl when you already have a 2dsxl other than 3d mainly.
