Yoshi’s New Island is not bad at all

Everyone says this game is bad and it had mixed critical reception, too, but I’m playing right now and I think it’s a solid game. The controls are good, it runs smoothly and the level design is good. The worst crime, in my opinion, it’s that the art style was not a good choice for the 3DS low resolution screen. Everything is supposed to look like art made with water color, colored pencils and crayons, but it’s too much detail for the 3DS screen and it’s looks weird. The game is also unoriginal and stale, but on its own, it’s enjoyable.
