My 2TB HHD broke after a good 8 years after a power outage in rest mode. Looking for a new one.
I already have an internal SSD installed into my ps5.
Looking for a HDD to directly play games from. Don't want to constantly move files around to play a game.
I'm okay if I can only play ps4 games since I already have a SSD.
Appreciate any help.

you can only play ps5 games from an ssd anyway.
You can only play PS4 games from an external storage device on PS5.
It just needs to meet the requirements:

Yeah hold up let me look up a hard drive on amazon and order it to your address???
I have a Seagate 2TB drive that I’ve used since fat ps4 days and it still works 9 years later.
Sometimes it gives me trouble if I bump my desk or move it, but that’s probably because I’ve dropped it at least a few times lol.
Edit: it looks exactly like the “Last of Us” branded one in the picture, just without the logos.
I use a western digital black game drive for mine, works great. Personally I don’t think the SSD version is worth it since you are sending all the data though a USB port anyway.
