Are you sure your NFC reader/ amiibo works? The 3ds should be able to read an amiibo through more than a tiny piece of glass or plastic.

That thin film protector isn’t what’s stopping your NFC reader from working. I get that you’re upset about it, but smacking your digitizer isn’t helping things.
