Maybe that explains the superior Pro performance in the Digital Foundry breakdown.

Might actually pick one up if this upsampling is that good

it would be a crazy fumble not to release it at the same time as a game coming from a massive franchise considering this is supposed to be it’s release window. also the fact that pragmata used pssr in it’s demo but not in this game also sounds interesting

So it’s basically confirmed at this point that PSSR2 will release in March.

This makes me wonder if we will even get 60fps for base ps5 on gta

Yea John mentioned the native render on Pro with Ray tracing 60 fps appear to be 1080p but said the image looked surprisingly sharp, the best he’s seen from a 1080 native render. And RE always tries to implement the best tech recently so it is def possible it’s using updated pssr tech

I don’t think it is, but don’t forget we just got a PS5 beta FW update that apparently only adds new emoticons… I highly doubt that’s all the beta is doing

I doubt average consumer could tell diffrence between pssr 1.0 and 2.0 anyway its only gonna be noticable by those that break down tech and analyse it

That’s a stretch of a speculation going by one post. Sony wouldn’t stealth release such a huge upgrade.

I think the embargo is related to the final part of the game and not showing any Raccoon City footage.

They literally said its the engines own internal upscaler solution.
