So I purchased a Fire Emblem Fates N3DSXL since its my favourite design out of all the models.
I do not really mind the condition as shown in the pictures but for those who have owned a 3DS for many years, is this condition something to worry about? I can see some signs of usage, scratches on the back and just general dirty areas but is this a bad sign long term? I plan to only use it at home but having a little worry whether or not its just gonna up and die on me due to its usage as ive no clue on how well 3DS's hold up and dont have screens just die or controls just go kaputz. I understand this might not make sense tbh.

It looks okay, I’d try and get it as clean as possible but be gentle. scratches on bottom are nbd tbh.
Get a clear case for it, screen protectors and you’re set
Wear and tear on these systems is normal. Just take care of it from now on and you’re good to go. Screen protectors and an acrylic case are a must.
