I think if you don’t have a Wii then yes 100% the ability to play Wii and WiiU titles is amazing.
I have a Wii and Wii U and I think both are great when modded for their standalone generations, even if directly next to each other. And with both paired with my 3DS I think all 3 ended up creating the best set of modded systems for the variety of titles, homebrew ware and experiences each create and did create

Imo switch is better but I love my Wii U still and I play it often

It’s the best all-around console. It makes the adults happy, the kids happy, the guests happy, etc. The only place it falls short is in mature games, but most of that stuff was better off played on the Xbox or PlayStation anyway.

Don’t worry about those modern graphically intense games or shitty dumbed down inferior Switch versions …Just use Moonlight to your computer’s Sunshine, then play all the modern games you want …Upgrade the Wiiu graphics fidelity with an upscaler like an MClassic and a cheap scanline generator..You will not regret it ….Wiiu to Future.
