This is really frustrating and ruins the whole poin of them. I used to have hundreds of the old versions including the most expensive ones but Steam decided they arent relevant anymore and hides them now.
They clearly still exist because the total is still shown and my profile awards are still the old ones showing correctly the highest ones first. Can Steam stop ruining community related things for once? Please tell me theres a way to change that

Price of what? Of the stupid awards that farmers and bots farmed posting controversial content?
They should remove them entirely.
While I can see this would personally annoy you and I am fine if Valve went the route of allowing users to show which ones they wanted, this is such a nothing burger. This doesn’t matter at all outside of vanity.
