I really don’t like games like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing. However I hope this game does well for its fans.
As it stands (89/100) Pokopia is the highest rated Pokémon game on metacritic.
I, for one, am fully on this hype train. All aboard!! CHOO CHOO!
wrong year guys
I’ve been on the hunt for a good cozy game for a while now. Even borrowed animal crossing from family to check out my old island again, but I just couldn’t get back into it. This one is a dream. It’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait for the weekend.
Only 10gb? I thought it would be bigger and that’s why they needed game key card. Not surprising that they are doing game key card since it’s cheaper, but it’s disappointing since it’s first party and they don’t have to. I’ll just get digitally if I can’t own it physically properly I guess.
It’s so expensive thouuuuuuugh. Urgh.
It’s 70€ here in Portugal, THAT’S $82!! And our salaries are incomparably lower
Edit: This game is almost 10% of a minimum wage here lol.
Looks like we “objectively“ have the next must-own title, after at least MK World and Bananza!
So stoked for this, the trailers/footage seemed like a mix between Anima Crossing and Minecraft, mixed with Pokemon.
Surprised at this – great for people who like this type of game!
Just bought the “physical” edition, seems awesome game… but cmon, should bee on the card Nintendo

How is the multiplayer on this game?
i still can’t fully tell everything this is bc i haven’t had the time to watch the latest showcases. i don’t rlly care for animal crossing bc it felt playing dollhouse(?). you go thru all the work to get cute stuff and then it sits there and can’t be used. is there utility to building anything in this to give reason or is it also very heavy decorator sim?

I’ve been trying to go in relatively clean, but wanted to know before buying – is the world procedurally generated? Or are we confined within a few seeds to choose from?
Not going to mention TheGamer’s 60, which is what is pushing it down to 89?

Damn! My wife wants this so bad but she didn’t want to spend $100 CAD on it unless it was excellent. I expected 7/10s across the board.

i’ve been playing a lot of Story of Seasons and Fantasy Life this year and this seems like it’ll take up my time just like those games
i’m already playing 3 games (soon 4 with the new tomodachi life) that do what i think this game would do for me, so i’m gonna buy it for sure but not any time soon. i just have too many games similar to it that i’m still playing. once i get bored though…
