I’m no expert but I DOUBT the same team making this product is the same team deciding what retro games/consoles to bring back. Nintendo ain’t small.

Just buy a Game Boy that can be modded with improved screens and rechargeable batteries. Or, refurbish a Game Boy with the latest parts, or buy the LEGO Game Boy and watch tutorials on how to turn it into an actual Game Boy.

Unfortunately, a Retro handheld remake will never happen as NSO covers that market segment under a subscription plan. Same reason why we never got another Classic / Mini console after the SNES one

No one wants a Game Boy remake.

I also cannot get board on it but for a different reason, I just think it’s preposterous to have to carry around 40+ cartridges just to listen to one game’s soundtrack.

Why would you want an original Gameboy remake other than for nostalgia? We have handheld retro devices with better screens, battery, etc.
A GBA remake I could understand. But not the original Gameboy lol
why would they remake an old device? that makes zero sense
Imagine writing all this without doing even basic research
