
Microsoft discusses a cloud-based Xbox system to let human or AI helpers take over your games. These helpers can guide the player through segments, explain mechanics, and then return control. Microsoft says the current solutions to seek help are rudimentary.

Sony has a similar patent. They are hedging against the generation that has no attention span and looks at their phones all the time. SO rather than pause the game it can continue playing for you until you assume control.
People gonna spin this so negatively. It’s likely optional, and would be a way better experience than having to look up and read a walkthrough. If I get stuck in a game I don’t want it to demoralize me into quitting.

This seems like a big win for accessibility too, a lot of people will see the “cheating” aspect of this and forget that there are people with disabilities that this will greatly benefit.
