My GOTY last year. Never really comment on reddit, but making an exception in case it persuades anyone to get it. I had two weeks off when I played it as a usually very busy school teacher. Everyone has spoke about the rogue-like structure and brilliant puzzles (won’t say more than that), but the story and world is unexpectedly developed.
Two weeks later I’d filled out a paper notebook to the tune of 250 pages. If you let yourself get lost in it, it’s simply wonderful. Easily GOTY for me last year, perhaps the last 5 years. Jealous of anyone who gets to experience the game for the first time.

Looking for a game to play with my wife together. She mostly plays cozy games, but outside of gaming loves escape rooms, and this game is giving escape room vibes to me. For anyone that has played, does this game give that “escape room” feeling of satisfaction as you progress?

The other thread was extremely negative but this is by far one of my favorite games of all time. Also scored well in reviews.
My take away is you don’t have to 100% the game. Seems like the ones that are really miserable about the game are those who forced themselves to do every single piece of content. A majority drop out after the main ending.
