I don’t really understand Tom Warren’s issue here. What difference does it make whether the hardware is called a PC or an Xbox if it’s apparently both?
Its main selling point is that it’s a PC, yet he doesn’t want people referring to it as one. Didn’t the gaming community already go through this same terminology debate with the ROG Ally Xbox until people actually got their hands on it and realized it was clearly just a PC experience?

Microsoft has only referred to their next-gen hardware as a “console“, yet literally everyone for some reason is screaming “LOOK IT’S A PC!”. If it’s a box that’s dedicated to playing games and no other “computer” tasks, I’d call that a *console*.
