      Seriously I WANT to play Mario Kart World but the game has NOTHING to do.

      I wish they added a plane mode, don’t need races just let me fly around and chill

      Guess I’ll go against the grain and say that I love World and think it’s better than 8. Playing Knockout Tour with my wife is the most fun I’ve had in a Mario Kart game ever.

      It definitely needs new content, though. I saw a pot a while back where someone suggested a Crazy Taxi-style delivery game in the open world, and I think that would be awesome.

      I tried a demo of MKW and idk the handling just isn’t my cup of tea this go around. Can’t beat Double Dash imo

      Biggest L of this game was advertising free roam so heavily and you can’t even roam with friends. Such poor execution of good ideas with Nintendo.

      I like Mario Kart World, but for some reason Mario Kart 8 with the DLC is the perfect Mario Kart.

      Should have been a Double Dash mode. The double item block and baby racers originated in Double Dash. The double item block is back again and there are even more baby racers in World. Peach Beach is also in World. Coincidence? Yes 😭

      I would love an “adult” mode
      Meaning no punishment for being 1st during the race and the opposite

      If you are 1st you get the good stuff
      If you are last you get the banana peels and pointless coins

      Now that would be fun and interesting

      I think it’s a bummer all the really cool new mechanics in MKW get overshadowed by the open world part. The wall riding and jumping and rails make it like half SSX 3. Everything should be half SSX 3 when given the chance

      If there’s any mode this game needs, I think it’s a way to make custom games. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy, just let us take the map and put down rings for a racetrack or a little sectioned off area for battle matches, of course with a way to share the creations around online. The map that they’ve created is cool but they just haven’t given nearly enough stuff to do in it – I think giving the community just some basic tools to make custom content with that map would really breath life into the game.

      MK8 is still my favorite Mario Kart, but World was also phenomenal.

      I really don’t get the “there is nothing to do in MK World” crowd. You play it, unlock everything, beat all cups, and then move on to other games and occasionally come back to it to play multiplayer with your friends when they come by, or online. What other Mario Kart game had more to do than that?!? This is not supposed to be a live service game, thankfully.

      People complain about World when World is exactly what people have been wanting. This is what happens when people play the same thing for 10+ years. Gamers are entitled and fickle. This is why we can’t have nice things because they’d rather have the same thing over and over again.

      Such a fantastic game. Can’t wait! Seeing a lot of salt in the comment section though. World is leagues ahead of what 8 ever offered.

      I want to like World but it didn’t really give me a reason to play after going through all the tracks like twice.

      I want open world where you can see other players from around the world. It’s a bit lonely exploring MK10

      Please release lap mode with mk8 tracks.

      Bomb blast is great and all but just give us what we want.
