this contradicts steams update on the store page though. They changed the release date to “coming soon” on all three pages when you wishlist them. So I dont think this is real

I really just want the fucking controller. Can we just ship that and wait for the rest? I get they want to do a packaged release but im probably not going to buy the Steam Machine anyways. Just release the controller

Steam Machine is already fairly weak from both PC and console perspectives. It will be even further behind the curve if it launches next year. Not much they can do about that with these shortages, though.
