Been working on my shell swap for 6 hours cause the hinge broke on my factory shell. I cannot for the life of me get the top screen to display, the backlight comes on but no display.

I hope you didn’t damage the ribbon cable. You are going to have to try to reseat the LCD ribbon cable again.
