How do i get rid of this newton ring and whether if it is ok to just leave it

i wanna put the protector on it but i noticed there are two newton rings, one on the top and on the bottom halves, near the right edges. Im ok with them being there but im wondering whether if the 3Ds will be damaged since newton rings are from pressure.
