So I have this 3ds with many black spots which look like dead pixels.
I was thinking of buying a new screen, but before this I decided to leave it for a few days on, with an opened notepad, to see if it could de yellow the screens.
And after a few days when I checked the screens I was shocked, couse it looks like all the black spots somehow disappeared, as well I feel screens are less yellow, but you can't say it looking at photos.

this happens with dead pixels a lot of the time. they fade after extended time with the screen off, they come back slowly with it on or with more concussion to the top half of the console. my first 3ds had some that behaved exactly the same, if yours is anything like mine they may be back. but if you don’t use the system every day, that also means it might not be the end of the world.
