    1. I’d probably say the only real problem with the N3DSXL is that the paint will chip and peel easily, so I’d recommend getting a protective case to protect the paint from peeling and getting all over your hands, but other than that, it’s pretty good to use.

If you’re cool with it being red inside and out, yeah.

I paid that for a modded Nebula console with a case, didn’t want bright/glossy insides.

    3. The most comfortable model with all the upgrades and perks of the new series. If you feel like you’re actually going to play the system, that seems like a good deal. Follow the information on [3ds.hacks.guide](https://3ds.hacks.guide/) to get custom firmware all set up and you can use custom badges, themes, manage save data, run emulators, inject virtual console titles, amidst a bunch of other things. Have fun!

    4. Well, a good condition n3DS XL sells for $250-300.

As for the games, the Zelda’s are worth about $20 each loose. The Yoshi game is a bit rare, so maybe $25-30 loose. Not sure about Kingdom Hearts, but definitely $15+.

So all in all, it’s maybe a $350 value w/ the case, give or take.

You can try to snag your 3DS from Japan through a reseller service like Buyee. But you’ll need patience and luck. Last year, I won my N3DSLL for $156.

100%. And with the games also? Bestie, run, don’t walk. Go get your console.
