Stellar Blade’s story honestly has a good start, it only starts to go downhill into being uninteresting (imo) after you head to Xion for the first time
Eve feels like an actual god damn character in her writing. This is the only part of the game I found her genuinely interesting. It's a good start, both in story and gameplay.
I think the problem is that similar stories have been told many times in other games so people pretty much guessed the outcome halfway through the game
bloodHearts on
I found it serviceable enough. I think the story would’ve benefited from Lily and Adam being involved more than just the pod. It made it reaaally difficult to connect to their characters during moments where they’re just piloting the pod. I did really enjoy Eve’s character; seeing her grow as a character over the game was cool and she had lots of badass moments which I really enjoyed.
