What are your thoughts? I completed the game on Xbox Game Pass & it was beyond mediocre for me, personally. I rushed the story & skipped the side content, since it wasn't engaging for me on many levels. The loading screens were excessive & the planetary travel was abysmal. So I'll be skipping this release. Crimson Desert will keep me more than busy & we have Pragmata/ Saros releasing in the same month. That's more than enough for me. I don't need a re-run of such a bland & poor product, from Bethesda. Will you be buying?

    1. For what it was billed as it was a complete disappointment.

I played through the story and the DLC and then was done. It was worth playing, but not much was memorable.

Anyone that hasn’t played I’d wait until it’s discounted.

Meh, I was indifferent to it when releasing on Xbox too. I just haven’t really been into Bethesda’s stuff since Skyrim, which i found pretty underwhelming. Dishonored and Wolfenstein were cool, though.

I enjoyed it. I liked the expansion less as it seemed to emphasise the parts of the game that I didn’t like. In general though, the side content was better than the main story.

Advice to anyone picking it up for the first time: Sign up with the UC and do the provisional missions. The first takes you through a museum and gives you a history lesson and the second is worth playing early on in the game when you are low level.

I bought an Xbox for this game and the future elder scrolls. I have since sold my xbox and waiting for everything to come to ps5.

Its not worth buying. On gamepass if you already had gamepass its worth trying but absolutely isnt worth outright buying

    6. I’ve been playing the shit out of fall out 4 right now and after seeing the new DLC. It looks pretty fun. I may get it

    7. such a boring & disappointing game. it has so many elements that i like, yet it fell so fucking flat

“I won’t be playing this on PS5. This game sucks. Fuck Bethesda. Trash game”…

*10 million copies sold on PS5 first month*

I know it’s going to catch me flak, but I’ve been a Star Citizen stan for years and even the perpetual Alpha version of that set the bar way too high for me. It felt like going from Elden Ring to Superman 64

This game should have been amazing 😓
It’s cool that they’re still adding content for those interested in diving in.

I tried it for free on PC don’t ask me how and I couldn’t play more than 1hour, absolute boredom

    12. This game was so much fun for like 40 hours of gameplay then got obnoxiously repetitive. The exploration is legitimately ass. Imagine fallout 4’s The Glowing Sea area but thats the entire game without a filter and 100x the loading screens.

I personally won’t be picking this up. I bought it on Xbox and didn’t really enjoy it for very long. It was great at the beginning, but the experience deteriorated rapidly the longer I played. I’d really recommend anyone who hasn’t gotten to play it until now due to console constraints to look up long form gameplay footage like a full twitch stream or something and judge your decision from there. It’s a game that looks very pretty and has a lot of cool ideas, but the practical execution of it all did not produce a fun game to me.

Might buy it. I haven’t played the game at all since I am a PlayStation fanboy and don’t use any Xbox consoles or products, but it seems good from what I’ve heard.
