I recently joined the 3DS club by getting a 2nd-hand N3DS XL. I am pretty happy with my catch, it was in good condition, especially the screens but the battery was already bulging a bit, so I got one from iFixit yesterday.
I ran the Battery Mark v2 test and got these results on screen brightness set to 3, auto brightness on and WiFi off since this is probably how I will usually use the device unless I am downloading something.
I can't tell if this is a good result since most references I found didn't post screen brightness etc.
Also after I ran the test, I left the 3DS on the Mii Plaza screen with sound and 3D on, to completely drain the battery bc that's what the package of the iFixit told me to do on the first cycle? But it's been like over an hour since hitting the 2% after the test and my 3DS is still on?
Tl;dr: I ran the battery test, and the device has been running for over an hour on the last 2 percent at the time of this post and it's still running.
Am I supposed to do calibration now or should I just start using it?
