      Weird as it sounds, it is probably because Nintendo actively does promote the Switch as its own separate product brand, while Nintendo itself might refer to the main corporate body.

      So they might be considered separate as a technicality depending on this survey’s criteria and rules

      Nintendo Switch being more popular amongst teens than Nintendo itself isn’t as crazy as it sounds.

      Switch is the best selling console of all time in Japan and it’s been out for 9 years. They likely haven’t played any Nintendo console before the Switch era.
