SIE to phase out “Paystation Network” and “PSN” branding. Am I the only one that fears they will somehow break our accounts?

According to this Techspot article, an email to devs from SIE says the change will be "purely visual". I feel that this move will somehow adversely affect our PSN, and possibly PS Plus, accounts. It seems, too me at least, that we are put on the backburner when changes, major or minor, are made. What do y'all think?
