If it’s made by the same people that did the Lego movies; sure, why not? Those movies were great.

TTYD is my favorite Mario RPG but it doesn’t have a terribly compelling narrative. None of them do really, SPM is the best but Mario is largely ancillary .
The fun in them is being able to explore Mario’s world yourself

No. Not because I hate the idea of Lego Mario but because I just don’t think that adapting video game RPGs stories to movies is ever a good idea.
