I wanted a dedicated space away from the house, so I claimed the old outbuilding in the garden. It has zero insulation, a corrugated iron roof, and exposed brick walls, so I leaned fully into the grungy, industrial/cyberpunk scavenger aesthetic.
It’s currently 11°C outside, but since this raw brick box holds the damp UK chill and drops to 3°C at night, the PC essentially doubles as my space heater

    The Setup:
    PC: Ryzen 3700x / RTX 4070 12GB / 4TB NVMe

Display: Curved Alienware 4k 240hz QDOLED & LG TV 55 inch OLED used as a massive second monitor (movies etc)
Audio: Studio monitors on stands running through a Razer Onyx DAC. (Dealing with the acoustic reflections of the corrugated roof was a nightmare, but the heavy rug and wall tapestries helped deaden the sound).
Lighting: Philips Hue Play bars and light strips doing the heavy lifting to wash the brickwork in neon, plus a few warm Edison bulbs to balance it out.
The "used universe" vibe makes the lack of drywall completely worth it. Let me know what you guys think or if you have any tips for acoustic treatment in a literal brick box!

Note it's waterproofed and has dehumidifier bricks out there and is mains powered and secure 😁
