      It’s solid casting. Michelle Mao and Karina Crowder definitely look the part, and since their characters provide the emotional backbone for Abby’s side of the story, HBO is clearly setting up a heavy, character-driven Season 3.

      as well as **newly announced additions:**

      > – Clea DuVall will portray a seraphite
      > – Jorge Lendeborg Jr. is taking on the role of Manny, following Danny Ramirez’s departure.
      > – Jason Ritter as Hanley, a WLF soldier.
      > – Patrick Wilson as Abby’s (Dever) father Jerry.

      The Last Of Us was co-created by Craig Mazin and the game’s Neil Druckmann, with Mazin, who served as executive producer/co-showrunner alongside Druckmann in Seasons 1 and 2, as the sole showrunner for Season 3

      Might be an unpopular opinion, but Craig Maizin should have never been given the responsibility for this show.

      I want to be excited for this but I have little hope. I loved the game but the 2nd season of the TV show was just so forgettable.

      I do hope these actors kill it and make me care again even if is only a little.

      I’m not sure I’ve had a show I loved so much for season 1 and completely lost interest in season two and on. Loved TLOU2 but it’s clear that experience, the way it is in the game, can’t be recreated. Abby not undergoing a physical transformation kills the effect the ending has on the player.

      I’m actually really excited for Season 3 as I think Abby’s portion was the most engaging part of the game for me. I know Season 2 had its ups and downs but it’s still a great show, imo.

      Loved both games but by the time season 3 finally arrives I will be out of fucks.

      HBO/Craig made unnecessary changes for the show, hoping tv audiences would stick around after you-know-what happens early in the season 2, but guess what, HBO? Those tv audiences were always going to leave. So many were there for Pedro. The game fans would be the ones to convince the tv crowd to stick around because the story is so good and it’ll be worth it; however, by changing so many good things about the game, the game fans (like myself) don’t like the show, won’t bother to convince the tv crowd to stay, and now you lost both groups. Their ratings and viewership tanked.
