i like the idea that the interviewer thought a Variety interview was gonna be where Nintendo announces the next Animal Crossing game

Kinda feels like this article was absolutely pointless? Nothing of value was said, and this person isn’t on the development team.

I still don’t understand why animal crossing games take years to make when this game got delayed and still has less content that new leaf does.

They’re gonna need a few more years if they want to beat pokopia. And this is coming from a massive animal crossing fanboy.

This game needed more, quicker. I know it brought in a bunch of people into the series during quarantine, but this felt like the emptiest game I’ve played in the series. There was so much potential.

Man I really want to start over and play again from the beginning but I don’t have the heart to delete my 2020 covid island that brought me so much joy.
I’d even pay a few bucks just to have another save slot or use a 2nd profile.

I’m okay with a 2027 announcement and 2028 release. I’ve got too many games on my plate atm.

The concept of a Nintendo Variety interview.

How about the first one added to the GC games available?

Pokopia is what came next.

I’m glad devs take time to release games. Not like Elder Scrolls and GTA long cycles but I don’t need a new entry to every series every year or two. There are so many series out there to experience I’m more likely to drop one with too many releases than get excited over the next entry

Nintendo of America hasn’t done anything in game development and should stay miles away from it.

Anyone know why the S2 upgrade was NOT 60fps?
