Mario kart counts? I mean the other titles sold extremely well but 8 deluxe is sitting at one of the best selling game not of mario kart, or mario franchise, but switch and on the top 10 of ALL time being just a single entry in a single platform is just absurd

I wish Bayonetta was a fast growing IP. Bayonetta 3 sold 1 million units around launch, but after that there were no more sales updates indicating it didn’t reach a major milestone after that, it probably sold around if not less than the same amount of units the previous games sold. The spin-off prequel Cereza and the Lost Demon didn’t even reach a million units and the only official sales reveal we got was that it sold around 8k units in Japan during it’s opening week. Dare I say the series stagnated after 3.
I think Xenoblade Chronicles is a good contender. Once a Japan exclusive game that fans had to harrass Nintendo so it got released in the West, now it got four games all with amazing reception and we are just waiting for the inevitable reveal of Xenoblade Chronicles 4.
I think another good contender is Animal Crossing. While already quite successful, with the most sold game before New Horizons being New Leaf with 13 million units, New Horizons sales are quadruple New Leaf’s sales. That’s a lot.
