TLDR: Game has more concurrent players than most of Sony’s first party games and almost twice as many as DS1, despite coming out at the same time as the long awaited Crimson Desert

Death Stranding (1+2) may not have been a banger for everyone. And I did have some minor eyes squeeze, too, during my playthroughs.

But I seriously think that Death Stranding deserves every success it gets.

I thought it was brilliantly executed and very well written. Not to mention the beauty of Decima and Kojima Productions’ unparalleled striving for butter-smooth gameplay.

Death Stranding 1 was such a great experience for me at a time the world was in shutdown, and it indeed talked human values that we appearantly need more of today.

This is based on steam having 55K players at one point. The number is lower now.

Doesn’t really mean much when Sonys other games haven’t really done well….

Obviously there were some bad ports in the mix too

But I think Sony sees their brand being hurt as a better reason to stop single player games on PC, they would rather do that than release games on PC with the **potential** to sell well, it’s not guaranteed.

      Also it’s not even a Sony game…
