Sony has a bug bounty program for PlayStation, and honestly, that's pretty cool to see.
They offer up to $50,000 for serious vulnerabilities, and have already paid out over $854,900 in total.
It's one of those things most players probably never think about, but it's reassuring knowing there's a real incentive to find and report issues before they turn into something bigger.
Nice reminder that platform security isn't just happening in the background by accident.
(Meanwhile I'm out here barely fixing my Wi-Fi, so I think I'll leave the $50k to someone else š)

That’s why we keep getting those security updates with no context.
