I bought the game as an Eid present for myself and I love it.
I’m also glad that I played Animal Crossing before this, because I’m just taking my time and not rushing the process.

My only problem with this game is the inventory management becomes a nightmare with materials and items strewn about the 5 zones.

Definitely the first real system seller in my opinion, Mario Kart was really fun but there’s just something missing and I’m disappointed that there is so far no sign of any post launch content

I had no desire to play this game until about 2 weeks before release when all the hype videos started releasing and then I knew it would be a must buy. I didn’t even own a switch 2 at that time.
I bought the switch 2, preordered the game and have been playing it as often as I possibly can, including WAYYY too many late nights (let me build one more habitat, or finish off this project in this house, or check for a new sparkling ripple for a recipe that I need).
It’s incredible! I honestly never want to stop playing it! Even when I’m not playing it I am constantly thinking about new things I want to do when I play it next.
I can’t wait until my kid is done playing the switch so I can hop on….
Maybe we need a second switch 2….

I have never been into Pokémon and bought this on a whim because I kind of like Stardew and Minecraft and holy hell, it is addictive. Highly recommend.

Such a fun, calm, relaxing and addicting gameplay loop.
