I noticed that the 3Ds was only charging when I pushed/held the cable upwards. I opened it up and noticed the on one side the usb port was lose so I used my very low soldering skills. That did nothing tho and I am still with the same problem. The port seems clean but I still tried to fix it IPA too.

tried another cable?
The problem is likely within the socket itself. I would recommend replacing the charging port entirely.
