I never really pulled the trigger on the PlayStation 5 because I have a huge backlog on the PS4, the Switch 2, and a whole host of retro consoles…
That being said the price increase is giving me FOMO and has me thinking I should jump on it since the next generation seems like it will be delayed for many reasons.
Is a PS5 Pro worth it if I will be mostly playing PS4 games on it?

If mostly playing PS4, then no. Don’t get fomo’d into dropping $750. If you’d like to mix in some PS5 games or futureproof yourself for things like GTA VI, with the added benefit that it’ll play your PS4 games excellently, then yes, pull the trigger.
No, in your situation I don’t see why you should get the PS5 now. If you wanted to play newer games you could get a Series S.
Get a PS5 Slim, preferably with a disc drive, to future proof yourself before the price increase. The Pro is not worth it.
No on the Pro, but yes on the PS5. Doubt the price is going to ever drop.
It’s only worth it if you have a tv that can support it and intend on getting ps5 games that support pssr. If yes to those two then yes it is absolutely worth it.

If you’re going to get one, now is the time. If you don’t get one before the price goes up, I’d wait for PS6

You’re gonna get different answers, my answer is no, it’s not really worth it. I still got my ps4 and don’t feel like I’m truly missing out…but it is something that only you will ultimately decide on.
Don’t know about the pro but if you’re gonna get it get it now. I love my ps5 and you can still play all those games on it as well. You could also try fb marketplace for a used one but it’s a bit of a risk
Well im my opinion PS5 has been worth it for years for anyone playing alot of PS4/PS5 because its also best PS4 by a country mile 😄 dont know about upcoming prices and being worth it but used ones probably can still be found for quite cheap
Don’t buy it. It has nothing worth playing on it get a steam deck instead
