I’ve progressed fairly far into the game but suddenly I’m not able to resume my game nor start a new game. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled on steam, and I’ve verified files. I’m still having the same issue and I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing?

Do you have Call of Duty installed? As far as I know, Call of Duty: UO requires it.
You need Call of Duty plus UO to play UO.
They are interconnected on many diffirent areas.
