I have a few GOG games I installed without GOG Galaxy. I wanted to add them to the Xbox PC app to allow launching with a controller (via Game Bar). I found several articles explaining how to do this, but my Xbox App cannot.
For example, this article mentions clicking a little plus sign to manually add a game. It even says you can directly add an execultable file! Awesome! Except I have no plus sign. This article is from two weeks ago! Did Xbox already revert this change?

Probably only available to Xbox Insiders program as they get early features before public release
It’s working for me, but I did notice when I updated the app yesterday there was a two or three minute period where I could not add apps (no + in the top right corner) and could not see apps I previously added.
