I don’t see too many people doing this, though I’m new to Reddit so maybe this is pretty common. I thought I’d share a great way to customize your 3DS (LL white in the photo). I like to go to Walmart and use their self print service to images off Pinterest and cut them out! I feel like most people try to use stickers, but this way is less damage to the system and you can fully customize what images are displayed and are easily changed out. Each print came out to about 30¢ if I’m remembering right! I even printed some Pokémon card scans so I can have a cool Pokémon on display without ruining a card.
Tldr Walmart has cheap printers put images in your clear case as “stickers” without damage

Pretty cool! I was considering personalizing my 3DS XL because the black/blue color looks so boring
Im using stickers on my more scratched XL, thinking of using a paper insert in the other one.
