U guys think I should get a new 3DS XL

the reason why I’m thinking abt it is recently my 3DS is laggy and well I had 128 gigabytes on it so I formatted it and well it still lags its a 3DS xl btw red one and im just wondering if I should get a new 3DS for games on my old one to run smoother on this one and like idk if u can do this but can u transfer ur like data from ur SD card to the micro kind for the new 3DS and stuff but yeah
