I am not an avid mario player, but I was looking yesterday, and there are actually quite a lot of mario games available on the switch family:
Marrio + Rabbids 1 & 2
Mario RPG
2 Paper Marios
2 Side Scroll Marios
Both Galaxies
Odyssey
2 Mario Karts
A Golf Mario, 2 Tennis Marios, a Soccer Mario
3D Land
Mario Maker 2
I get there hasnt been one for the switch 2 specifically, but I dont think theyve forgotten about Mario at all
